Morning everyone:
Hope you all had a nice weekend. I just ‘huddled’ in my home, watched tv and relaxed.
OK, let’s see if I can read my notes from last Thursday night!
Cat had her hair up and was wearing a short puffy black dress. She looked really cute. Adam said it was “Audrey Hepburnish”!!!!
The Top 8 danced to Get Up by Ciara. This was choreographed by Shane Sparks – good start to the show.
There were 8M votes cast after the show on Wednesday night.
Nigel spoke about the bridge collapse in Minneapolis and said how our thoughts and prayers go out to the families affected by this terrible tragedy.
He then talked about a ‘dancer’s life’ and how hard it is and what a short life it is. He said that you really have to want it more than anything else in your life and ‘live it’ or you won’t succeed. He said a few, like Adam, go from dancing to choreography or directing.
OK, we discussed the past season’s winners: Nick in 1 and Benji in 2
Could we possibly have a GIRL for Season 3???? Could be.
Let’s do the 8 Solos first:

Lacey – contemporary – also, good job
Sabra – WOW – I don’t think she has a speciality – doesn’t need one!
Lauren - was OK
Commercial: Trailer for The Invasion starring Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig. Isn’t this a remake of Invasion of the Body Snatchers… kinda?
Neil - Contemporary – very nice
Danny – Has the WOW factor with the kicks and jumps
Domenic - Hip Hop -Love Dom…really shaky on the outcome
Pasha - Did a little Paso Doble thing – was good
OK…girls: Sara – Bottom 2, Lacey – SAFE, Sabra – SAFE, Lauren – Bottom 2 – Girl going home tonight….Sara! Thought for sure it would be Lauren.
Guys: Dominic – Bottom 2, Pasha – SAFE, Danny – SAFE, Neil – Bottom 2 – Guy going home tonight: Dominic – I knew it just didn’t want to hear it!
Sara and Dominic shouldn’t be disappointed though because over 7K people auditioned this year and to be in the Top 8 is incredible.
Aside from all of that, I think it was OK for Dominic to go because it gave him the opportunity to THROW his arms around Cat. Are we talking ’stalker’ here???
Special guest was: One Republic didn’t stick around to listen!
Switched the stations and caught some of Texas Holdem…WOW look at all that cash! Oh, there’s a commercial with my favorite poker player:

OK, I let you know ahead of time who went home this week but I just wanted to say that Dom has ONE LAST HUG for Cat!!!

Since I did the review on Monday, I can ‘reflect’ a little on my weekend.
Unscrambled, The Fountain ON DEMAND – don’t bother if you haven’t seen it. Very, very strange movie!
Ohhh, Saw a great trailer this weekend for THE LOOKOUT which is going to be on DVD tomorrow – check it out. You won’t be disappointed.
Naturally, I watched a lot of TV. Last night: The Company on TNT which was very, very good. It’s about the inception of the CIA. Took me 10 minutes to figure out who Michael Keaton was. Makeup was great. I’m pretty sure he is playing the role that Matt Damon played in THE GOOD SHEPHERD (with Anjie). If it shows up ON DEMAND, unscramble it, it’s a 3 week mini series well worth watching.
